Whenever I make a trip to the central coast I make it a point to visit SLO at least once.
After a long drive out the night before I was not too happy to get up before the sun. But on this trip I made it a point to visit key locations, and my visit was short. When I arrived I set up my tripod, composed my shot and took 5 photos at different exposures. I did this so that I could stitch them together in Lightroom and have an HDR image. An HDR (high dynamic range) photo would give me a huge range of detail to use in the shadows and the highlights. I shot this photo at 18mm, f/16, with an ISO set to 400.
Have you ever shot an HDR photo? How did your photo come out? Let me know in the comment section. If you are new to the blog, welcome! Be sure to head over to Facebook and add my photography page. Also you can follow me on Instagram links located above.
